PROMOMED CHOOSES BOLOGNA
Promomed chooses Bologna as location for the Crafta® course, giving all health professionals that register for the course the possiblity to visit the city hosting the most ancient university of the world. In addition to the outstanding training of the Cranio Facial Therapy Academy the participants will have the chance to enjoy the alleys of the old town of Bologna and get a taste of the multiple faces the city has to offer.
Interdisciplenary course (restricted to physiotherapists, dentists, speech therapists, otolaryngologists, and other health professionals) focused on the management of patients with dysfunctions and pain in the cranio-mandibular and cranio-facial region. The course is divided into two parts of 5 days each (10-14 May 2018 and, to be confirmed, 8-12 Novembre 2018), given by instructors Michiel Trouw and Harry von Piekartz respectively.
The Crafta® course in Bologna will take place at SpaziO2. A dynamic and innovative setting, incubator and promoter of events and projects in the green surrounding of the Giardini Margherita. Only a short walk from the centre of Bologna, this new location has already become a hot spot for meetings, exchanges and growth offering courses and programs, information and education to professionals and non.
EASY TO REACH
Bologna is easy to reach from anywhere in the world by plane, train or car. In addition, the city offers an excellent public transport network allowing for easy and fast connections also within the city itself.
FROM THE MAIN TRAIN AND COACH STATION
It takes approximately 35′ by foot to reach SpaziO2 from the main train station passing from the historical centre of Bologna. It’s easy to reach taking Via dell’Indipendenza from the train station. At the end of this street your turn left into Via Rizzoli right in front of the main square you towards the famous two leaning towers, where you turn right into Via Castiglione. Continue your way towards the destination, passing from the historical city gate Porta Castiglione, after which you arrive at Via Castiglione 101 on the right-hand side of the street.
By public transport SpaziO2 is easy to reach via direct bus connections (no change) from the main train and coach station using lines 32 and 33 getting off at the “Porta Castiglione” (the old city gate 2′ by foot from SpaziO2) or line 30 or navetta A, which both stop in Via Castiglione (stop “Porta Castiglione”) only 40m from the venue at number 101. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, which will cost you approximately 10€ (estimate according to the web-page of the CoTaBo taxi service, tel. +39 051 372727).
The international airport of Bologna connects the city to a multitude of smaller and bigger cities and is served by national, international and low-cost airlines.
From here SpaziO2 is easy to reach by taxi or with the airport shuttle service to the main station from where you can take bus lines 30, 32, 33 or navetta A (see “From the main train and coach station”).
Motorway A1 from direction Milan. Motorway A1/E35 from direction Rome. Motorway A13 from direction Padova. Motorway A14 from direction Ancona.
The park “Giardini Margherita” offers numerous parking spaces (charges apply) at only 200m from SpaziO2, Via Castiglione 101 that can be reached through the gates in Via dei Sabbioni (one of which is right at the corner with Via Castiglione).
Alternative parking spaces are available right at the city gate at only 150m from the venue, though very limited in number and somewhat tedious to navigate. Additional spaces are in Viale XII Giugno.
Watched parking is available at “Staveco” in Viale Enrico Panzacchi at only 5′ by foot from SpaziO2 or Garage degli Angeli in Via degli Angeli 16 (in a Limited Traffic Zone generally not open to non-residents, but accessible for customers of the garage), only 4′ by foot from SpaziO2.
A little further away, more public parking spaces are available at the Piazza del Baraccano, towards the city gate Porta Santo Stefano and Via Murri, only 5′ by foot from SpaziO2.
